MS Dhoni Fulfilled After Test Success over the Black Caps

Test Cricket Team - Sports Jagat
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Indian skipper, is satisfied after a clinical success against New Zealand in the first Test of the series at Hyderabad and also congratulated the country’s under-19 team for clinching the junior World Cup in Australia.

India won the Hyderabad Test by a comprehensive margin of an innings and 115 runs and proved to be a far superior side in all departments of the game. This is a inspiring victory for the Men in Blue, who had a sad time in Test cricket in the previous year, being whitewashed by England and Australia.

On the other side of the coin, led by Unmukt Chand’s brilliant century, India under-19 defeated Australia in the final of the junior mega event by six wickets to clinch the illustrious tournament for the third time.

India’s captain is happy to see the youngsters doing so well in Australia, where the Asian teams generally struggle to cope with the pace and bounce. The wicketkeeper/batsman praised Chand’s temperament, who saw his team to victory.

Cheteshwar Pujara - Sports Jagat
Talking about his side’s triumph in the first Test, the cricketer from Jharkhand was all praise for Cheteshwar Pujara, who scored his maiden Test hundred. Dhoni admitted that he was worried about rain, which threatened to end the match in a draw.

This was India’s first Test since the retirement of Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman, who were safe slip fielders apart from being legendary batsmen. The captain however, is happy with the fielders, who grabbed the chances.

He mentioned, "Brilliant catching, Viru-pa got some very good catches, Kohli as well. It is something we want to continue. It was important for Pujara as he was coming after an injury, he is someone used to playing big, long innings. He has a good temperament, he can play for long periods."
