12 Hours Sebring - First Audi Sports Car Race

Audi R8R - Sports Jagat
2013 marks the end of an era in North America. Since 1999 the annual Sebring 12 Hours has played host to the American Le Mans Championship and ACO rules based cars. For 2014 the ALMS and the Grand-Am are merging and within this new merger the LMP1 category is being removed. This means that essentially 2013 will be the last Audi LMP1 appearance at Sebring. Despite Sebring not being a WEC round the team will be at the event for their Sebring LMP1 swansong with no less than two Audi R18 e-tron quattro cars.

To continue this Audi at Sebring theme we have included a great embedded video. The official American Le Mans Series YouTube channel has been uploading a number of videos featuring old race footage. Audi debuted at Sebring in 1999 with the Audi R8R, it was their first ever sports car race.

  1. Audi is famous for its luxurious car but they never made a sport car. This is the first time they are going to lunch new and first sports car of Audi. It will take a part in racing competition which is held in North America.
